ALLER ALLER ALLER!
Circle, a pioneering french running brand has officially landed in London.
Circle are on a mission to create high-performance running apparel and shoes following the principle of circularity. We are huge fans of the brand, their mission and their products! With footwear and apparel available to shop in store and online.
To make some noise we took to the streets for the Pass the Baguette relays! 17 teams of 6 signed up to take part, with over 100 runners filling the shoe room to get bready for the challenge ahead, practicing their handovers and limbering up for the 6 x 1km race. But which team would rise to the challenge?
After a quick briefing, the team leaders, donned in past and present Circle tees, line up on the start line. Trois, deux, un! And they were off, speeding around the corner and out of sight. As each team waited for their runner to appear from the other direction the excitement built, but they didn't have to wait long! The handovers were relatively seamless, despite a few team's baguette disintegrating! The energy rivalled that of the Tour de France, in true French spirit runners lined the pavement creating a funnel of noise!
The middle of the race was tight, but team Moving Parts to a huge lead early on. Flying through the finish line tape almost 1km ahead of the rest of the field. Congratulations to all the took part, with a special mention to K.V.Switzer - our winning all-female team!
Keep your eyes peeled for more Runlimited x Circle action next year!
